Lunch, Paired: A New Way to Wine in St. Helena
Most Napa Valley tastings happen standing up, glass in hand, moving from pour to pour. Lunch. Pair. Sip. is something different: a seated, three-course lunch inside our candlelit 1905 bank vault, with each course paired to a NIGHT Wines pour from Spring Mountain and Carneros.
It starts with artisanal cheese and charcuterie, moves into a main course (think Dungeness crab Louis salad, spring veggie pasta, or a grilled chicken sandwich), and finishes with tiramisu and fresh raspberries. Each course arrives with its own wine, so the pacing is unhurried — more like a long lunch with friends than a formal tasting.
It’s available Tuesday through Saturday, 12–4pm, for parties up to 12 — and the vault can be reserved privately for larger groups. At $119 per person, it’s become one of our favorite ways to spend a Napa Valley afternoon, and one of the more relaxed ways to get to know the wines.
If you’re planning a day in St. Helena, this is a great anchor for it — lunch at The Saint, then an afternoon wandering Main Street.
